I created an entry for the A Blog Named Hero Challenge!
I have ordered many monthly kits from Hero Arts. They are such a great value! I used this kit from August 2018 to create this card.

I love the monthly challenges at Altenew. Gives me an opportunity to use stamps I have had for a while!
I was inspired by Amber from Noteable Inc. to watercolor the Peony Bouquet stamp set, one of Altenew's classics!

Layered Triangle Turnabout
I had fun a few days ago playing with CutCardStock's Core'dinations Minty Fresh Cardstock Assortment, Concord and 9th's Triangle Turnabout Stamp and Catherine Pooler inks.
I started with a piece of pale blue cardstock and embossed the first layer with clear embossing powder. I ink blended green ink over the entire base. After rotating the piece, I clear embossed to lock the green ink in. After adding additional green blended ink, I used one more layer of clear embossing powder. If you look closely, you can see some double stamping, giving the card an artsy look. Simon Says Stamps Thinking of you Die was cut and layered followed by a coating of Nuvo Glaze. I cut the piece with a Wonky Rectangle Die and attached it to the blue base also from the Coor’dinations Set.

I started by ink blending Salty Ocean and Mowed Lawn on the front to create the sky and grass spaces. I repeated the grassy knoll inside as well. I cut the mushroom space using the coordinating die set on the front of the card.
I die cut the Mushroom House pieces from various color cardstock. The Gnome images are stamped with Gina K Amalgam ink and colored with various Copic markers. Once the images were cut out, assembly was easy! I added a sentiment from the cute stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by! Be well. Be creative.
