Hello Crafty Friends! I had a blast making this Altered Mixed Media box!
And it all started with an unfinished cigar box from my stash!
The project started with this unfinished cigar box. I did sand the top and the sides where the company name was embossed.
I painted the box with white Gesso and then a layer of Grey Chalk Paint.
Next step was adding the Bouquet #664418 strips and pieces onto the box with Distress Collage Medium.
I did add Hickory Smoke Distress Crayon to soften the look. The photo above is before crayon.
I added the floral layer Brushstroke Flower #2 as well as the word Gratitude cut using an Altenew Die set.

The inside needed some attention, so I measured and cut a piece of light grey cardstock to fit. Using double sided tape, I attached a piece of the Aviary Collage paper and smoothed it out with my bone folder.
