Hello friends! Welcome back! Today I am posting for A Blog Named Hero's August Challenge. I had so much fun creating this colorful background!
I love hot air balloons! Such a fun summer sight!
Stamp the hot air balloons from The Sky's the Limit stamp set in permanent ink on a watercolor panel. Watercolor the sky around the balloons in blue. Heat emboss three different balloons on watercolor paper and watercolor. Don't forget to color the area below the strings from the basket to the balloon and next to the sail.
Die cut the clouds out of both white cardstock and a light vellum to create the layered cloudy background using the Cloudy Sky Fancy Hero Arts die. Ink the edges of the white clouds with blue ink. Arrange the clouds in layers using different areas of the die cut images.
Choose the best place for the balloons, attaching one slightly behind the vellum cloud for impact. Use foam pieces to pop up the center balloon.
Heat emboss the two sentiments on the lower cloud. Attach the watercolor base to an A2 card base and you are good to go!
