Hello friends! The holidays are approaching and I am here today to share a special folder, cards and tags, all made from the Special Delivery kit from TaylorMadeCards4U!
I started with the folder. I wanted to create a sweet holiday folder to hold a few cards and tags.
You can see how well the cards fit in the pocket.
I created a video to show how to create the folder and the cards and tags. Check the video out here:
The folder base is xxxxxxxx from CutCardStock.
The front and back of the folder measures 6.25 x 4.75 inches. Allowing 1/2 inch for the spine, the cereal box was cut to 10 x 6 inches.
Here are the measurements for the pocket. The width is slightly smaller than the base to allow for closure of the folder.
In addition, I made 3 cards plus 3 tags!
I love to pile on layers of ephemera and this kit is perfect for finding just the right pieces! In addition I added a few pieces of Tim Holtz's ephemera.
The second card uses the snowflake background in the kit along with the small tag. I added extra interest by die cutting snowflakes from Cougar 80 lb. Natural cardstock and adding to the front.
Another Jolly Santa card to share! This one uses an A2 Cougar 80 lb. Natural Cardstock base with Smooth Red Wagon CardStock cardstock followed by a plaid layer using the kit. The striped tag was created using a stencil on the cream cardstock. A tree and a few stamps complete the card!
This kit has some great ephemera for creating simple tags! I cut the snowflake background with a star die and added the choir boy and name from the tag. Add a fun red twine and you are good to go! The other two simply use the tags included in the kit, mounted on Smooth Red Wagon Cardstock with a red cord tie!
I hope you have enjoyed my holly jolly holiday preview.
