Do you love ink blending? I know I sure do. Today I am posting for CutCardStock featuring ink blending on Cougar 80 lb. White Cardstock. So incredibly smooth!

I am sharing two versions using Altenew’s Craft Your Life Watercolor flowers with two unique bloom arrangements.
Create the Postage Stamp Outlines
Die cut the stamp outlines four times using the Waffle Flower Postage Collage Die to create the base using Cougar 80 lb. White Cardstock. Center the block stencil on top of the die cuts and stamp the outline stamp twice with black ink and twice with a very light ink to help stencil placement. I used two different bloom sets to create these cards. It may look a little funny as part of the images are missing but the incomplete stamping will help you align the stencils perfectly!

Ink Blend the Blooms using the Coordinating Stencils
Cougar Cardstock is my go-to for just about all my cardmaking. It ink blends so smoothly! The next step is to use the coordinating stencils to add color to the blooms.

Here is the image using the black ink stamped floral blooms.

This is the light ink stamped image. Both are gorgeous. See how smooth the Cougar Cardstock blends!
Stamp the Images
I used the fun coordinating stamp images to add interest over the top of the floral blooms to complete the stamp appearance.

Assemble the Cards
Use Cougar 110 lb. cardstock to create the A2 card base. I cut larger pieces in half and score to create my card bases. I find the 110 lb. White Cougar Cardstock is perfect especially when creating watercolor cards as it holds up well with heavier base panels.

Trim a piece of Grape Jelly Pop Tone Cardstock to 4.0 x 5.25 inches allowing a small white border around the die cut image. Attach the postage stamp image to the purple cardstock and then to the A2 card base. I love how the purple shows through the perforation openings!
