Masculine Travel Card

Hello crafty friends. Today I am posting this fun masculine travel card for CutCardStock that started with one of my brayered backgrounds!

Check out this fun layered card!

The Background

The background is from a recent round of creating Master Boards with a brayer and Distress Oxide Inks on Cougar 100 lb. White Cardstock.

I created multiple backgrounds in one sitting! Give it a try.

Once I selected my background, I used a script stamp to add texture in the background.

Die Cut the Travel Card Images

Select a variety of cardstocks that coordinate well with the base. I used Star Dream Metallic BronzeDCS Light Teal and Lessebo Moss Green along with a tan and blue scrap from my stash.

Die cut the stand using the Bronze cardstock, the globe base with DCS Light Teal and the Land with Moss Green. Cut the airplane body from the blue scrap and the wings from a tan scrap. Add Vintage Photo Distress Ink on the edges of the land pieces.

Assemble the Card

Use a Cougar 100 lb. White card base. I cut and score my card bases from 8.5 x 11-inch pieces of cardstock. Prior to attaching the panel, select a sentiment and stamp on Vellum using an Archival Ink. Trim so you have a strip longer than 4.25 inches to wrap around the panel. Attach to the panel by folding a section on each side and gluing to the backside of the panel.

Attach the brayered panel to the card base. Glue the globe pieces in the center of the card. Trim and add small pieces of foam tape to the back of the assembled airplane. Choose your flight path and add to the card!
