Greetings Friends! Today I had soooo much fun with Altenew's Dreamy Daylilly Embossing Folder, Stencil and Die. Altenew is rocking it with their line of stencils and embossing folders. Too much fun to play with!
I am participating in the Video Release Hop for Altenew HERE. The Hop starts HERE.
Different backgrounds create two totally different looks!
We'll start by using the Grid Stencil and an ink pad to print a subtle background panel.
I have a video in case you prefer to watch! The video is HERE.
Line the blank center up with the lily image on the embossing folder and run through your machine of choice.
Center the stencils one at a time over the embossed image and add color using the Altenew Mini Ink Blending Tools. I used Sunray, Chamomile, Smap Dragon and Marigold for the blooms and Fresh Leaf for the leaves. Love how bright this is.
Once the entire image is colored, trim to 4.0 by 5.25 and add to an A2 card base with an orange panel attached.
Stamp the greeting of your choice in a contrasting color using the Bold Sentiments Stamp Set. Stamp again with embossing ink and add clear embossing powder. Heat dry and trim. Add two additional strips of white cardstock to add dimension. Attach to the lower left card front!
Next up is the die cut Coral card!
The newly released Dotted Waves Cover Die gives a subtle texture to this fun floral card. I love the size of these blooms!
Emboss the Lilly image using the embossing folder and use the coordinating Die Cut to cut the image out. Cutting the image out before coloring helps in stencil placement.
Use Pink Pearl, Coral Bliss, Marigold and Frayed Leaf inks to ink blend the image using Altenew's Mini Ink Blending Tools.
Add Altenew Foam Tape to the image to pop it up off the background and attach to the cardbase.
Select a greeting from the Essential Greeting Die Set. Use the Frayed Leaf ink to color a piece of white cardstock and cut the chosen die out. Back the sentiment with a few small strips of white cardstock and add to the front.
