November 2022 Blossoming Creativity Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in Total Prizes!)

Hello friends. I am thrilled to be a guest designer for the November 2022 Blossoming Creativity Blog Hop with Altenew. This is an amazing release! The hop starts here. You should have arrived from Betty D. Wright's blog.

The Dancing Sunflower Stamp, Stencil and Dies really called my name! I am a huge sunflower fan and these blooms are gorgeous. Add a stencil set and you are good to go!

Check out how the different color schemes really change the look.

Check out how the background stencil really accentuates the blooms! I started with a slimline base and use the Halftone Stencil to add texture to the background flipping the stencil so change the dot size! When inking a Slimline size card, it is important to use a geometric design so the stencil can be matched up! Ink used is the Olive ink from the Tropical Forest set that was also used on the leaves for the blooms.

Stamp two of the blooms with Obsidian Black Pigment Ink. Be sure it is dry prior to ink blending with the stencils. Use the stencil layers to add the colors. Inks used include: Olive, Moss, Pinkalicious, Camomile, Snapdragon and Marigold inks from the Golden Sunsets set.

Ink blend a 1.5 inch wide strip of white cardstock using Olive Ink. Stamp a sentiment from The Acts of Kindness set. Attach the two blooms at opposite sides of the stenciled Slimline Card base and add the sentiment!

I tend to stamp and color multiple images at once, so I had to make another card featuring a dark background! I used the same floral inks as the first card and substituted blue inks for the leaves using Iceberg, Eastern Sky and Ultramarine from the Lapis Lazuli Ink set.

Love how the blooms pop off that dark background. The sentiment strip was created using the Nesting Slim Label Die, altered slightly to fit.

I decided to add patterns to the background by inking with the Linear Stencil using the Eastern Sky ink on light blue cardstock. I love how it just added a little interest below the bloom. I also embossed using the Dotted Geo Cover Die. Sentiment from Acts of Kindness set are stamped in Ultramarine.

I love the Chemistry Vases stamp, stencil and die. What a cute small vase it makes. This card, I selected rainbow colors and inked the tubes so I could arrange them over the stenciled background. The Alphabet Stencil provided the perfect contrast when inked in rainbow bands. I only used three ink colors Turquoise, Honey Drizzle and Puffy Heart. I blended the bands overlapping to create additional colors.

I arranged the vases in a small circle and added enamel drops in coordinating colors. Ink colors include: Puffy Heart, Turquoise, Honey Drizzle, Marigold and Firefly.

How about a simple floral vase? Yes, you can with this set!

Check out the elegant simplicity when a single tube is used a vase for the Wildflower Garden inked images!

The chemistry tube was stamped in the center of an A2 base suing gray inks from the Gentleman's Grey Ink set.

Bloom colors include Honey Drizzle, Olive, Magenta and Hydrangea. Note some masking was required to fit the stems in the tube.

I trimmed the stamped image and mounted on a piece from the Essential Rock Collection       6 x 6 inch paper pad. A sentiment from the Chemistry Set completes this card!
