Altenew Craft Your Life Kit: Always Sunshine

Hello Friends. I'm presenting this gorgeous Craft Your Life Project Kit for Altenew (affiliate link). This is the Always Sunshine Kit. It has stamps, stencils, embossing folder and a die in the set! I am participating in a wonderful Hop featuring some very talented creators. The blog starts here. The overview for the release on my channel is here.

I have a shaped card front along with two floral images mounted on the leafy embossed background. Too much fun!

Check out all the great pieces included with the kit!

Here is the shaped card. Isn't it gorgeous?

I do have a YouTube video to talk you through the process. Here is the link.

I started with a full A2 card base. I wanted to position this at an angle which created an issue using my Sizzix Big Shot. I decided to trace the die outline and fussy cut the outline. Once I had the cutting done, I lined up the stamp using my Misti Stamping tool. It is stamped with Altenew Obsidian Black ink which it is perfect for stenciling and stamping.

After adding the color and stamping the detail layers I turned to the card inside. I used the Square Weave Pattern Stencil on light blue cardstock to add some interest. After attaching to the cardbase, I stamped the two sentiments, one exposed and one hidden on the inside!

Ink colors used include: Frayed Leaf and Forest Glades from the Green Fields Ink Set, Wisteria, Hydrangea, and Ultraviolet inks from the Enchanted Garden set, Iceberg, and Eastern Sky inks from the Lapis Lazuli set.

I incorporated the embossing folder on the next two cards.

I decided to use lighter grey tones for the main flower and blues for the flowers on the vine. Additional ink colors include: Morning Frost and Evening Grey from the Warm Grey Mini Inks set, Iceberg and Eastern Sky from the Lapis Lazuli set and Vanilla Cream.

Check out the background on this card! I added Frayed Leaf Ink on the flat side of the embossing folder. After running through the die cut machine, I swiped the color on the raised section to add more color! I used this technique as well on the last card. Last step is to trim to 5.5 x 4.25 inches and mount on an A2 card base.

I die cut the floral image and used the entire die cut on this card. I did add two white diecuts to add dimension before gluing on the card front.

The Proud of You from the Essential Sentiments Die cut in Black, mounted on White Cardstock adds the perfect touch!

Last card uses the same colors are the first!

The embossed background uses the same techniques as card #2. Notice I set this card up in  landscape form. I trimmed the floral die cut to exclude the longer vine. This is also mounted on a couple of additional white die cuts for dimension.

An Essential Sentiment Die with an inked front and Black Background finishes this card!

I hope you have enjoyed my tutorial! This is an amazing set
