Victorian Themed Layered Cards

Hello friends. Today I am posting these Victorian themed cards for TaylorMadeCards4U! The digital images are wonderful to use in Vintage Layered Cards!

Today we are making the two cards on the right. I will post the additional two in the next few weeks! I'm just giving you a sneak peek!

Check out these gorgeous digital images included in the kit!

I often print the images on Cougar 80 lb Natural Cardstock to  enhance the warmer colors of the images. I love the way all the images coordinate!  Included in the kit is a page with four A2 images for backgrounds. For this card, I trimmed the background with my Deckle Edge Trimmer. ink blended the edges with Vintage Photo and attached it to a Discount Cardstock Rustic Craft A2 base.

The portrait included embellishments on the sides that I removed when I die cut the image with an oval frame. I mounted her on a decorative oval frame using a Spellbinders Die on Pink Cardstock. Vintage Photo Distress Ink adds the perfect amount of antique color. This image is popped up with foam tape for dimension.

I love the dainty key image, fussy cut and attached to the left side of the oval!  The sentiment card is included in the digital kit!

Check out this sweet young lady with lace and buttons! I'll start at the bottom and work up!  This A2 base is Cougar 80lb White Cardstock with Victorian Velvet Distress inks around the edges.
The printed card base from the kit is Deckle edged and sewn onto the card base after applying the lace strip.

The doll is from Ideology's Paper Dolls. Using a Distress Embossing marker, I colored her dress and added Speckled Egg Embossing Glaze. I love how it covers the area and allows the folds and shading to show!

After this step, I assembled the card adding the postcard and Falcon images. Once the young lady was added, it was time to add some antique buttons from my stash!

Here is the video showing the entire process.

I hope I have inspired you to go Vintage!  Look for another video and post with two more cards!
