Heartfelt Hugs

I am pleased to present these Valentine's Cards for CutCardStock.

We'll start with the pink Hugs card. Savoy 100% Cotton Cardstock is the perfect base for techniques with water! The first step was to white heat emboss Simon Says Stamp Center Heart background stamp onto the paper. The next step was smooshing pink distressed inks onto the paper. I used Spun Sugar and Picked Rasberry. Watch the video to see how the card was created!

The word Hugs was die cut using Altenew's Tall Alpha set from White Cougar Cardstock and Razzleberry Poptone Cardstock. I stacked 3 white layers beneath the pink top layer for great dimension. The sentiment strip is from Taylored Expressions Friendship set.

The base was trimmed to 4.0 x 5.5 inches and mounted on the Razzleberry Cardstock. Final step was the addition of Pretty Pink Posh bling! The next card started off the same with the white heat embossing on the Savoy 100% Cotton CardStock.

Zig Watercolor Brushes added the pops of color. The Sentiment is stamped using Distress Ink Wilted Violet and a stamp from Hedge Hog Hollow December Subscription box.

Final steps for this card were trimming and mounting on Grape Jelly Poptone Cardstock and adding Rhinestone Mix Crystals from Honeybee Stamps.
