Have you die cut Star Dream Metallic or used in embossing folders? Today I am posting this gorgeous anniversary card for CutCardstock.

Create the Background
Start with a piece of Rose Quartz Star Dream Metallic. I love the subtle color of this cardstock. Dry emboss with the Elegant Flourish Embossing folder from @Altenewllc. Use the coordinating stencils to add a pink tint to the flourishes. Trim to A2 card size and set aside.
Die Cut the Components
I used several colors of cardstock to create the blooms: Lessebo Sunflower, Lessebo Moss Green, DCS Pink Tutu and DCS Amaranth (one of my new favorite colors). Use Altenew's Zero Waste Wildflower Meadow Die and cut an A2 panel from each color in addition to Cougar 80. Lb. White Cardstock. I keep the different colors separated in different small trays.

Create a variety of blooms by gluing layers together. Set aside.
Create the lantern by die cutting the top and accent pieces in Stardream Metallic Silver Cardstock and the base in Pop Tone Black Licorice. Glue together to create the focal point.
Assemble the Card
Attach the Embossed base to an A2 card base. I like to use Cougar 110 lb. Cardstock for my bases.
You may want to lay out your leaves, blooms and the lantern on the side to determine placement as that will determine how the pieces are layered.

Once you have determined the placement, glue all the elements in place.
Add a Sentiment
Choose a sentiment die to accent the formal look of this card. I used a cursive die from Altenew and die cut the sentiment in a black shine cardstock in my stash paired with Cougar 100 lb. Cardstock. Glue the sentiment to the card.
