Slimline Die Cut Card

Hello friends. Today I am posting for CutcardStock. Today I am sharing this cute layered slimline card featuring Tim Holtz's Walter die!

Create the Base Panel

Using the On the Rocks Slimline Die from Catherine Pooler, die cut 2 panels using Cougar 100 lb. White Cardstock and set aside.

Cut an additional panel from the Cougar 4 x 9.5 inches. squish Evergreen Bough, Mermaid Lagoon and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide Inks on your craft mat. Spritz with water and run your fingers through the ink. Place the 4 x 9.5 panel into the inks and rotate slightly. Use a heat tool to start the drying process.

Continue to dip and dry the panel until you are happy with the results.

Glue the die cut panels together and then attach to the dry ink smoosh piece. Tim the excess and set aside.

Die Cut the Penquin's

Use a variety of cardstock including Black Licorice, 100 lb. Cougar, DCS Dark Teal, DCS Light Teal, Basis Gold and Dolphin Gray to cut out the layers for Walter.

Assemble three penquins and add different hats and other accessories. Small pop poms are great for the hat if you have them.

Assemble the Die Cut Card

Cut another piece of 100 lb. cougar to 8 x 9.5 inches. Score down the long side to card the cardbase. Attach the layered panel to the center. Add the three Walters, two on one side and the third on the opposite side. Add a sentiment of your choice. I used Sending Smiles from Simon Says Stamps.

Add a few coordinating sequins for bling.
