Eek! Halloween is coming soon!

So excited to get the new Sizzix dies Eek and Boo! Today I am posting for CutCardStock! See how I got a two-fer with one panel.

Create the Two-fer Base Panels

Use an A2 Cougar White Panel plus an Orange Fizz A2 panel. Use a stamp positioner to stamp the large spider web (Stampers Anonymous CMS 276) in Black Pigment Ink on both panels using the positioner so the web is centered on both panels. Add clear embossing powder and heat set.

Die cut Boo from the Big Frights set (Sizzix) in the center of the orange stamped panel. Be sure to save the interior of the letters for later. Cut a second Boo in Cougar White Cardstock

Create the Shaker Window

Trim the orange panel to 4.5 x 3 5/8 inches. Add a clear packaging piece behind the opening. This can be any firm plastic. Trim the piece of Cougar to the same dimension for the window, making sure the letters line up with the orange piece.

Cut a piece of Black Licorice Cardstock to 3.75 x 5 inches.

Center the white panel on the black cardstock and add the white Boo die cut to the opening. Add the orange letter centers to the white base like puzzle pieces. These will be glued onto the white panel prior to creating the shaker.

You will also want to cut some black spiders to be added to the card as well.

Add 1/4 inch wide foam tape to the perimeter of both the letter opening and the panel. Glue a few random black spiders onto the white base. Add black sequins to the middle of the foam tape perimeter. Peel the backing and line up the orange die cut panel to the white base.

Assemble the Shaker Card

Use a Cougar 100 lb. Cardbase. Add a panel of Orange Fizz cut to 5.25 x 4.0 inches. Center the shaker window on top and attach.

Complete the Two-fer Card

The second card is a single layer panel with die cuts.

Use the embossed Spider web panel and add adhesive of choice to the Boo die cut. Match the web lines up and attach.

Attach the panel to and A2 Cougar Card base. I trim and score my card bases using Cougar 100 lb white cardstock.
