We have a new niece expected in November. What a perfect gift for the new parents to display a visit with Santa photo.
My project started with a photo base just perfect to be altered. I knew I wanted to use the Colorize Santa from Sizzix. I just needed a great holiday base. I found the candy-striped paper in my stash and attached it to the photo base with Collage Medium.
I used many different cardstocks to achieve this cute scene. The Merry Christmas from the Sizzix Christmas Ribon set was die cut three times using Red Pepper Cardstock. I stacked them for dimension.
Check out Santa's Bag of Toys called Toyland from Sizzix! Cardstock used include Basis Brown, Gingersnap, Lakeside Blue, Red Pepper and Dark Red Cardstock.
When I am working on scenes with many small parts, I often will die cut all the pieces and store them in small bowls. After assembling and gluing all the small parts, I am ready to create my scene!
Be sure to check out all the stops and comment to be eligible to win a giftcard from CutCardStock. Take a moment and check out all the great products they offer.
