More Elementary Elements for the School Year

Greetings Friends. I am back again posting for TaylorMadeCards4U. There is a wonderful assortment of Vintage Digital Ephemera on the site. This month we are celebrating Back to School with these wonderful school themed images from the Passport to School kit. Today I am featuring the second set of cards -  the travel card and the ABC card. The other two are featured on my Blog here and my YouTube Channel here.

We'll start with the travel geography card today. This one starts with an A2 Kraft card base. The first layer is a map created by adhering Ideology Collage paper to a cardstock base. The Sizzix World die is embossed with a copper turquoise embossing powder.

Aren't the two schoolgirls sweet?  After trimming, I inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress ink.  The word Wander and Travel are from an Ideology Flashcard set aged with Vintage Photo ink as well. The final piece is the Citizen Card from the Digital kit. All the pieces are layered on the Collage map.

This was a fun card to create. It starts with part of the ruler tag attached to a Kraft A2 base.  Next layer is the document tag from my stash, crumpled and inked to look old.  The ABCs came from an Ideology Flashcard set aged as well.

The book cover is a digital image from the shop called Vintage Spelling Book Cover.  The blackboard is also from a tag in the set. Once I cut that out and added it, the irony of the book cover name caught my eye. What better way to call it out than writing and misspelling the word on it?

I added the cute paper dolls from Ideology after adding some color with Distress Crayons and popping up with foam tape.

Check out the posts on the TaylorMadeCards4UBlogThere is also a monthly challenge as well where you can share your makes and be entered into a chance to win a $10 GC to the shop.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'd love to have you follow/subscribe on my social media sites InstagramFacebookBlogger and You Tube.  Be well. Be creative!
