Layered Vintage Shamrock Cards

Hello friends. Today I am posting for TaylorMadeCards4U using their new A Lucky Day Digital Kit! Check out this gorgeous ephemera and prints! Posting 2 cards today and additional cards mid month.

This card started with a Gelli Plate Distress Inked Base.  Script printing using the Entemology Stamp from Stampers Anonymous provided interest.  All images are printed on Cougar 80 lb Natural Cardstock.

I always begin the creative process for these kits by printing the pages and fussy cutting the images. In this case, the Lily of The Valley plant came from an 8.5 x 11 background print.  After attaching the script background, I started playing with the different ephemera pieces.  Once I filled the card, I stamped the sentiment from a Simon Says Stamp set using Clover Distress Ink.

This card started with one of the A2 backgrounds from the kit. I used one of Tim Holtz's Sizzix Dies to provide interest to the corner. The gorgeous pink flowers are also from one of the 8.5 x 11 in background.

Check out the great dimension achieved by using multiple layers!
