Another interactive card for you this month using the August Subscription box from Hedgehog Hollow. Just couldn't help myself! These bees are so darn cute!
Check out the dimension created with acrylic strips and a wobbler! Once the honey pot, stirrer and lots of bees were stamped on Neenah Cardstock, I colored them all with Copic markers and fussy cut them out. I added a second top to the pot and tied a piece of twine on for interest. The bees needed to wobble, so I cut 1/4 inch strips of acrylic sheets and glued the bees on with Distress Collage Medium which will adhere to multiple surfaces. l added a black cardstock layer on the pot to enclose the acrylic wobble sticks. A wobbler on the back provided the perfect amount of wobbling!
The background was created by white heat embossing the honey pot and applicator multiple times on watercolor cardstock. A few shakes of powder using Ken Oliver's Color Burst make the background really pop! I spritzed water over the top to activate the powder and a bright base was created for the honeypot.
