Partial Die-cut
Floral
Greetings Crafty Friends!
I am excited to share this card as a guest designer for Cut Cardstock! The card is featured on the CutCardStock blog.
Here is the finished card. I will also walk you through the
creation of this card!
I started with a pink
A2 landscape card base from the Botanical Core’dinations set. I also am using a
4.25 x 5.5 inch piece of Curious Metallic Cryogen cardstock to stamp and color
the floral image. I love the sparkle and how well alcohol markers color on this
product!
I lined the cryogen
piece up to the bottom of the card base and used additionaI adhesive to secure
the entire piece. I used Gina K Almagan Ink and my MISTI tool to stamp the
floral branch.
I taped the die in
the appropriate place and lined up the edge of a cutting plate to only cut the
bottom of the image. Remember the Big Shot will only cut the section covered with
both plates.
I lined up my Fiskars
cutter with the die-cut section and removed the bottom portion.
This is how it
appears after removing the bottom plus a few smaller pieces.
Here is a close up of
the flowers after I colored them with alcohol markers. I also added a pearl to highlight the center.
I stamped the
sentiment in Almagan ink to finish the card.
Here is the final card! Cardstock from CutCardStock. Be well. Be creative.
