ABNH intro

Hello Crafty Friends! I am so excited to share that I have joined the A Blog Named Hero Challenge Design Team. I keep pinching myself to be sure I am awake! I created to cards to share today both using the Leaves and Vine Fancy Die.  Funny, I started working on these prior to the February kit release and amazingly, these cards fit right in with the kit.  The challenge for February was Anything Goes. March's Chellange is Floral. Enter your creations here: A Blog Named Hero – The official Hero Arts challenge blog!

Take me to the beach!

Greetings crafty friends!  I am pleased to share this sandy beachy card for Scrapslot.  I used the Waves and Sea and Sky stamp sets from Hero Arts along with their Beachy Frame die.  So much fun!  I was born on the West Coast and have always loved coastal areas!

Thankful Deco Peacock

Greetings Crafty Friends!

I love the Art Deco Era.

I wanted to use this peacock and incorporate Art Deco images.  The background is white heat embossed using images from the Hero Arts Deco Thanks Set and the Hero Arts Totally sets.  Once the embossing was done, I blended blue Distress inks over and polished the white embossing. I cut an oval in the background and trimmed the piece to 3.75 x 5.5. Before attaching, I added the peacock. The peacock was embossed in black and colored with alcohol markers. The sentiment is from the Deco Thanks Set, popped up with foam tape.  I hope you like the card!
