Another Travel Themed Card - Are You Ready to Go?

Hello friends, this is my second card for TaylorMadeCards4U. I'm so ready to travel! Check out the first post from earlier this month. The digital kit we are using is Now Boarding. This kit has lots of themed paper and embellishments.

Todays post covers the lower right and upper left cards! Check out all the layered goodness.

Start by trimming and adhering the red and blue paper to a deep blue paper. Add one of the ephemera pieces as the background. The flight attendant is already there!

There are many ephemera pieces in this kit all related to travel. I selected a few red and blue pieces to add. Do you recognize the blue globe die cut? It was left over from a video from my first card!

Check out the YouTube video on the assembly of the cards for today:

Here is the link for the video as well: https://youtu.be/dNfQqEK_vS4

The last card features a map background topped with pieces from this fun kit.

The colorful tag is from the kit, trimmer to create a base for the other pieces.  The airplane is from a scene. Resized and fussy cut the plane. Pop it up with foam tape for dimension.
Arrange the other coordinating ephemera and you have a colorful theme.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'd love to have you follow/subscribe on my social media sites Instagram, Facebook, Blogger and You Tube.  Be well. Be creative!

I hope you have enjoyed this post.

Travel Themed Layered Cards

Greetings friends. I'm posting again for TaylorMadeCards4U. This month's set is Now Boarding and I am so ready to travel! How about you?

Check out these colorful travel themed cards. Today I will cover the bottom left and upper right cards. Watch for a second post in a week or so!

This Kraft card started with Ideology Maps Collage paper adhered to a cream base and trimmed with the Deckle Edge Trimmer from Tonic.  Stamp the Eiffel Tower in Expresso Archival Ink and the words from a Stampers Anonymous Stamp and you are good to add the embellishments!

The passport and attendant were printed on white cardstock, trimmed and added to the card front. It doesn't take many items to make a fun and creative card!

I have a video covering the first two cards here:

The second card features many layers.

Check out these colorful layers, many included in the digital kit.  Start by printing and trimming the red and blue background from the kit. The second layer is stamped using an older Stampers Anonymous stamp in Blue Jean Archival ink.

The striped banner is from a scrap in my craft room, cut with a slimline die. Add a Navy Sizzix Die Cut world, the American Airlines ephemera and the flight attendant. The sentiment is from another older Tim Holtz die set, trimmed and mounted.

Monica sponsors a monthly challenge on her blog. Be sure to check it out and enter to win a gift card to her shop.
