Greetings Friends. Today I am posting for Altenew in a hop highlighting their wonderful Sticky Essentials Adhesive Products! The entire hop starts HERE. You should have arrived from Berina Rajakumar's blog.
This was such a fun project to create! I'll list the step-by-step directions for you to follow along!
Start by embossing the cover die onto an A2 size piece of Classic Crest White Cardstock. This will give you a guide of where to cut the triangle piece.
Measure and mark the center opening with a pencil mark. Using the embossed base as a guide cut a triangular opening that exposed one line of the hearts so they can be ink blended.Select your colors. I used Baby Pink, Fuschia, Orange Cream, Field Green, Turquoise, Ultramarine and Hydrangea Mini Ink Cubes. I love rainbow colors!
Line the opening up with a line of the hearts and ink blend the area. Note: add scrap paper to protect the area below the end of the A2 guide if needed.
Continue around the card in rainbow order. There will be two lines of each color.
Cut an A2 size piece of the Double Sided Adhesive Sheets and add to the back of a white A2 size panel. Using the Radial Hearts Die, cut this piece and reserve a set of hearts matching the 4th row out. You may need to cut another panel in order to have enough hearts. Starting at the top of the ink blended panel, apply the die cut cover piece matching the openings to the ink blended hearts. Set aside for now.
Arrange a set of hearts under each ink cube and ink blend to match.
Use the guide you created to color another piece of the white cardstock so you can use that for the focal area. Cut two smaller hearts using the Halftone Heart Nesting Die Set.
