I used a variety of cardstock including Stardream Metallic, Curious Metallic, Pop Tone and other Cardstock available from CutCardstock.


Metallic Cardstock Card


All of the cards are created with Honeybee Stamps Bold Background Vintage Rose Die set. I love how the metallic cardstock adds a sheen to the card!


Die cut all the leaves and the background using Stardream Metallic Fairway Cardstock. Use Stardream Punch for the blooms and Stardream Metallic Gold for the flower centers.


Use Curious Metallic Virtual Pearl Cardstock to create a 4.25 x 5.5 inch panel. Glue the Fairway leave base to the panel.



Ink blend Seedless Preserves Distress to the embossed areas on the Punch Bloom die cuts that will be exposed once assembled. Assemble all the blooms. Attach to the card panel. Gold heat emboss a sentiment from Honeybee Stamps Celebrating You stamp set. 


Use the coordinating die to cut the sentiment and an additional blank. Glue together and attach to the card front.



Attach to an A2 card base made from Cougar 100 lb Natural Cardstock. Add some gold pearls for additional bling!

Use an Acetate Card Base for Fun

Let’s change up the card by using the Fairway base and leaves paired with Poptone Razzleberry and Cotton Candy and DCS Pastel Pink Cardstock on a clear acetate card base!



Use the pink cardstock to die cut the blooms. Use Picked Raspberry Distress Inks to ink blend over the embossed sections of the blooms.



Glue the leaf base onto the clear acetate A2 card base. Add the blooms. Gold heat emboss your choice of sentiment onto a label shaped tag. Layer the tag with a second tag and attach to the card base. Add pink bling to enhance the card front!


Create a smaller double layered card smaller than 4.25 x 5.25 with Cougar White 100 lb. Cardstock. This will provide the hidden base to include your message. I chose to use a top folding card for this. Glue this to the inside of the card.


Metallic Leaves with Cardstock Blooms

The final card uses the Curious Metallic Virtual Pearl Cardstock for the leaves, ink blended with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.



I love the vintage vibe created with the tan leaves!

Die cut the blooms using DCS Flamingo, Bazzill Peach and DCS Wild Salmon Cardstocks. 

Ink blend Abandoned Coral over the embossed areas of the blooms and assemble.



Glue the leaf background to an A2 panel of Flamingo Cardstock. Add the blooms. Gold emboss a sentiment of your choice on a tag shaped label. Attach to the panel and add some peach-colored bling. Use a Cougar Natural 100 lb. A2 card base.
