Stamp the Background for Interest!

Hello Crafty Friends. Today I am sharing a card completed with the Build a Garden Japanese Anemone amazing set from the June release from Altenew. I love the variety of stamps, dies and stencils! Too much fun!

I love the size and detail of this image! I have a video here- https://youtu.be/7_P01IwEmAU

You can achieve amazing results by using the floral stamp to create a background!

Start by stamping an A2 size panel with the floral image using Altenew's Obsidian Black Pigment Ink. Start by stamping from one corner through the middle of the panel. Arrange additional stamped images so they do not overlap with each other. Note: you may need to clean and mask part of the stamp to achieve a complete background. Don't forget to remove the mask before stamping.

Stamp the flowers on Cougar Cardstock with Black Obsidian Ink. Add clear embossing powder and heat set. Use the coordinating stencils to color the images using the Mini Blending Brushes. I love these tools! I used Frosty Pink and Coral Berry inks for the flower petals and added Dnap Dragon for the middle section. The leaves and centers are colored with Shadow Creek and Grass Fields. Loving the bright colors!

Die cut the flower plus two additional white layers to add to the stamped image. Glue the die cuts together.

Splatter the card panel plus the die cut image using the darker bloom color ink. Glue the blooms to the front at an angle. I love how the bloom is large enough to almost cover the panel. Add to an A2 card base.

Select your sentiment and white heat emboss on black cardstock. Use a circle die to cut the image. Cit another larger circle to use as the base. Ink blend the edges, attach the sentiment and add to the card front.
