Hello friends! I am posting today for the Altenew Educators Style it with Stencils Blog Hop. You should have arrived here from Erin Thompson's Blog. The blog starts here on the Altenew Card Blog.
I have four cards for you today along with three videos!
I think this is my favorite of the bunch - a mixed media background with the gorgeous Inked Lotus flower. I started by pushing embossing paste through the Grid Stencil. Once dry, I added Lagoon Ink and allowed the ink to run down the base.
The inked Lotus was stamped and watercolored using Altenew's Tropical Watercolor Bush set. I am loving the vibrant colors! Check out the video here:
Look at all that shiny goodness on the embossing paste!
I take you through creating the background in this short video here:
Prizes:
Altenew is giving away a $20 gift certificate to 5 lucky winners! Please leave a comment here and also on the Altenew Blog by 9/19/2020 for a chance to win.
We’ll also draw a winner to receive a $15 Altenew gift certificate from the comments left on each designer’s blog on the blog hop list below. All winners will be announced on the Altenew Winners Page on 9/22/2020.
