Halloween Banner with Teri

So happy to be back on CutCardStock's blog with a cute Halloween Banner. I apologize upfront for the photo heavy post! If you look at each banner piece individually, you can create some cute cards using the techniques!

The banner bases were all created by cutting cereal boxes to 6 x 4 inches. The letters were all created with Orange Fizz Poptone Cardstock and Pow! Glitter Black paper.

The banner on the right is Poptone Lemon Yellow Cardstock, stamped with a background stamp from Stamper's Anonymous with the edges ink- blended with Black Soot Distress ink. The tag on the left started with Cougar 80 lb cardstock, ink blended with Spiced Marmalade, Picked Rasberry and Seedless Preserves. Water spritzing adds the drops.

The witch and cat were cut with Poptone Black Licorice Cardstock. The worm is stamped and Copic Colored on Cougar 80 lb cardstock.

I heat embossed the scary house, Raven and sentiment on the ink blended background and added the letter P.

I used the orange banner next and saved the purple till the end. The orange banner is Orange Fizz Poptone cardstock and the Purple is Grape Jelly Poptone Cardstock. I used a Stamper's Anonymous Stencil and inked it with Versamark ink. I added a Clear embossing layer and heat set it. I used the leftover ink on the stencil by turning it over onto the purple banner and rubbing the back of the stencil. Another layer of clear embossing powder heat set adds some light texture.

I stamped one of Tim Holtz's Crazy Cats on the orange banner and added the bottle of poison and a bug. The bottle and bug are from 2 different Stampers Anonymous stamp sets. The black splatters are ink blending through a stencil.

Next up is the Kraft tag on the left. I used Rustic Kraft cardstock, stamped with another Stampers Anonymous background stamp with ink blended edges. The tag on the right is Cougar Natural Cardstock "swinked" with fall color ink cubes. Swinking has been on several blogs lately and is just the process of swiping colored ink cubes on cardstock. The lettering is from a different Stampers Anonymous stamp.

The monster, glass and eyeballs are stamped on Cougar and colored with Copics. They are all attached to the Kraft base along with the second O.

Loving these bugs from a Stampers Anonymous stamp and Sizzix die set! I made many bugs as I wasn't sure which ones I would use. These are all stamped and colored with Copics. A layer of Nuvo glaze adds the glossy effect.

I added the bugs and the K to the front of the cream colored base. Can't you see this one as a card front?

The final banner uses the purple tag. The spider web is cut from Glamma Natural Transparent Vellum. I black heat embossed the sentiment, and added the monster (Stamped and colored with Copics on Cougar 80 lb cardstock). His feet wiggle with a Wobler!

I used a hole punch to make the holes and tied it together with black and white twine!

Whew! A long post I know! I hope I have inspired you! Thanks so much for stopping by today! I'd love to have you follow/subscribe on my social media sites Instagram, Facebook, Blogger and You Tube.  Be well. Be creative!
