I love the depth and dimension created with multiple layers.  I started by cutting Purple Plum Cardstock and Curious Metallic Black Night Cardstock in half to create 2 4.25 x 11 inch pieces.  I also cut a piece of Curious Metallic Virtual Pearl into a 4.25 x 5.5 piece for the spooky sky.

I then scored and cut the purple piece and scored the black piece as shown below.

I cut widows with a Stitched Rectangle Die in both the black front and the purple fronts. I did have to maneuver the die and extend the window on the black piece to allow it to close properly. The background is distress inks in Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch and Carved Pumpkin with the moon colored in Mustard Seed ink.
The black solid piece was glued onto the purple base.  The spooky background was glued on top of that. Watch the video of the entire process.
The next step was to assemble all of the die cut pieces. I used an older Spellbinders Halloween Die to cut the fence, the house and the 2 ravens from the Curious Metallic Black Night Cardstock.  The tree branches are cut with a Sizzix die and embossed with Tim Holtz's 3D lumber.  The house sits on a hill cut with a curved die. Once the fence and house were attached, I used a piece of double sided red tape to attach the shadow box to the card.
