Four Floral Cards: One Betterpress Plate

 Hello friends, Today I am posting for CutCardStock. See how I used one Betterpress Plate to create these four unique cards using a single Betterpress Plate! I will present the cards from simple to more complicated!

I love the different looks achieved simply by changing cardstocks!

Card Number One: One Layer Betterpress Plate

This is a very simple design created by inking the Betterpress Plate with teal ink and using your die cutting system to press the image onto Cougar 100 lb. White Cardstock. Trim the panel to 3.75 x 5.0 inches and add to a card base. I create my own card bases using full sheets of Cougar White110 lb. Cardstock, cutting in half and scoring the center. Works great! A fun premade sentiment finishes this bright and colorful card!

Card Number Two: Add a Little More Color to the Betterpress Plate

Using the same process using for the first card, ink the Betterpress Plate with Black Permanent Ink and press Blossom Lessebo Cardstock using your die cut machine. Trim the panel to 4.0 by 5.25 inches. Use a dark green copic marker to color the leaves. Mount the panel on another A2 pink panel and then attach to a Cougar card base.

Add some bling and another sentiment from the stash and you are good to go.

Card Number Three: Add Multiple Colors

I love the vibrance of this bright card! The base is using the same techniques with Black Permanent Ink on Pop Tone Lemon Drop Cardstock. After pressing the image, trim to 4.0 x 5.25 inches and add both green and a gold yellow Copic Markers to create depth. Mount on the same yellow cardstock and then on an A2 card base.

Add another sentiment from the stash to finish.

Alcohol Ink on Vellum Makes and Impact!

I love cool colors and I think this may be my favorite one! Start by using Archival Ink on the Betterpress Pale and use 105 lb. Glama Translucent Cardstock to print the image on. It is important to use permanent ink with using Vellum. I used a heat tool to completely dry prior to coloring.

Use a Copic marker to color the blooms using your choice of color. As you can see, there is no need to be neat! Use a green Copic Marker to color over the leaf areas. Trim the panel to 4.0 x 5.25 inches amd mount on an A2 card base made from Cougar 110 lb. Cardstock.

Add a sentiment and you are done!
