Die Cut Rainbow Card

Hello Crafty Friends! Today I am posting this fun and colorful rainbow card for CutCardStock. I love rainbows – how about you?

Create the Rainbow Card Components

Start by selecting an assortment of bright cardstocks to use. I am using Lessebo Salt WaterLessebo BrickDCS Mantis GreenLessebo Sunflower and Lessebo Bubblegum Cardstocks.

Organize the colors in Rainbow order and use nested arch dies to cut in order. I used Pink Fresh Studios Nested Arches.

Create the Rainbow Card

Select an A2 light blue panel for the base. I used an embossed panel from my background box. Attach the arches in descending size. I choose to line them up at the left side of the card.

Create the Rainbow Striped Words

Select a sentiment die to create the focal sentiment. I like to use dies with shadows and the Wish Big die from Simon Says Stamps was the perfect choice.

Use your trimmer to cut the five colors of cardstock into 1/4 inch strips. Using a white cardboard scrap, add a piece of double-sided adhesive to create the rainbow sentiment. Carefully line the strips ups right next to each other. Be sure to cover the entire scrap prior to die cutting the sentiment.

Glue the rainbow sentiment to the white shadow and attach to the card panel. Attach the panel to a white card base using Cougar 100 lb. White Cardstock. I cut and score my own bases using Cougar Cardstock.
