Grateful Gift Boxes

Hello friends! Welcome Fall. It's that time of the year where we may become more reflective and thankful for the many blessings in our lives. Today I am posting for CutCardStock with a trio of unique gift boxes for the Fall Season.

I am a fan of fall leaves and the riot of color that appears in our yard!

I was so inspired by the Acorn 3D Embossing Folder by Sizzix! Check out all the texture created by using Kraft Chipboard to create the box!

Acorn Gift Box

Start with Kraft Chipboard and cut both the top and bottom of the box using the Sizzix Curio Box Die. Set the bottom piece aside and run the top through the Acorn 3D Embossing Folder. Check out all the dimension. Note: Due to the size of the folder, there will be a blank flat section on the side bottoms.

Use small ink cubes and color the raised images by running the ink cubes over the images. You may need to use the corners to color the stems.

Stamp/emboss with different images and a sentiment. Hole punch a small hole.

Fold both the sides and the top and assemble the box. Use Tan and white twine to tie the box together and add the labels!

Acorn Pillow Gift Box

The pillow box die makes the perfect base for the Acorn Embossing Folder!

Use your die cut machine to cut the solid decorator panels from Royal Sundance Fiber Kraft Cardstock. in the Pillow Box Die set. Insert the pieces into the Acorn Embossing Folder and emboss. Die cut a trio of leaves from Kraft scraps.

Fussy cut the leaf trio. Emboss a small sentiment. Hole punch small openings.

Die cut the Pillow bases using Dark Orange Cardstock

Ink smoosh a piece of Rayon Seam binding and when dry, use this to tie the box together with the sentiment and leaves on top.

Pinecone Gift Box

This box would be perfect for a small treat!

Stamp and emboss a background stamp onto a piece of the Kraft Chipboard. I chose a pinecone background with brown embossing powder.

Using the same Curio Box die as in the first box, die cut the top and bottom from the embossed Pinecone Piece. Die cut the opening using the coordinating die. Glue a small piece of clear acetate on the inside of the box top.

Cut a label using Royal Sundance Fiber Kraft Cardstock. Stamp as desired. Create the pinecone embellishments using Kale, Olive Green, Dark Brown and Royal Sundance Fiber Kraft Cardstock.

Dye a piece of Rayon Seam binding for the box tie. Layer the label and the pinecone embellishment and punch a small hole. Wrap the seam binding around the embellishments and box, add the embellishments and finish with a bow.

It's a Wrap
