Die Cut Daisies

Greetings Crafty Friends. I am posting today for A Blog Named Hero's March Challenge Floral. I am so very excited to be a design team member this year! Check out their post here: http://ablognamedhero.com/2021/03/march-challenge-2/.

I am sharing the card I created:

I fell in love with this sweet Stamp and Cut Daisy and Bugs set.
Slimline cards are all the rage now, so I designed this card to spread the daisy images over the long side.

First step was to create the stencil background. While I used a stencil that is no longer available, the Crossing Waves Stencil would be a great substitute. You need a stencil with a symmetrical design so you can shift it and match the design since this is a 6x6 inch stencil. I used Hero Arts Strawberry Ink to ink blend the background. I love the bright color!

I stamped the floral images along with a few Lady Bugs, colored with Copics and die cut the images. A little Nuvo Glaze adding shine to the ladybugs!

The sentiment was added after assembling the card with a red cardstock base, followed by the stencil design and the images.

You have a chance to win one of two gift certificates to Hero Arts, thanks to our beloved sponsors Hero Arts, themselves.  Make sure to get your entries in by 5pm on the 26th March and enter via the linky tool.

Thanks for stopping by. I'd love to have you follow/subscribe on my social media sites Instagram, Facebook, Blogger and You Tube.  Be well. Be creative!
