Ho Ho Ho - Santas For Cards and Gifts

Holiday Greetings! I am back today with some darling Santas for gifting using products from CutCardStock.com!

This new Tim Holtz Santa die from Sizzix just called my name! I started by die cutting enough to make four of these cuties! I figure with these multi-piece sets, you may as well do multiples!

I used multiple different cardstock pieces for the Santa face: Neenah Desert Storm for the face, Curious Metallic Cryogen White, and Cougar 80 lb. CardStock for the beard, Re-Entry Red, Red Pepper and Dark Red for the Hat, Moss Green CardStock for the leaves.

I'll start with the gift box. After assembling all the cute Santa faces, I began to work on the box.

I started by stamping a 6 x 7 piece of Re-Entry Red Cardstock with the Ranger Plaid stamp. After die-cutting the box top, I discovered my plaid was not covering the top. Using my trusty Micro-fine pen and a black Sharpie, I filled in the blanks.

After assembling the box top and bottom, I glued the Santa face on the top.

I am looking forward to surprising someone with this cute box!

The card was just as much fun to make. As I started to consider the design, I thought if I leave the Santa separate, it could be a cute tag or even an ornament for the tree.

This time I white heat embossed the Hero Arts Holiday Floral stamp on the Re-entry Red cardstock. I love the way the white pops! For the corner holder, I used a piece of heavy vellum from my stash, and gold heat embossed the sentiment.

Love the way his sweet face pops out!

Love the layered dimension on these cute faces. A piece of red and white twine completes the card.
