Need More Cookie Ideas?

 Welcome back friends! I was invited to Guest Design for Maker Forte! Today I am sharing two more cookie cards created with the Christmas Cookie Stamp set by Alex Syberia from Maker Forte. I have had such fun with these stamps!

We’ll start with another yummy Gingerbread Card!  Can’t wait to bake some for the holidays!

I love to create layered cards! After embossing a sheet of cookies with white embossing powder, I fussy cut them out and painted them with White Gesso and red watercolor paints. A layer of Nuvo Glaze creates the shine on the letter and a few other cookies.

Check out the depth created by triple layering the red frame using Smooth Red Wagon Cardstock!  The base is a piece of Ginger Snap Cardstock, stamped with a plaid stamp from Ranger using White Pigment Ink.  I love anything white on kraft paper! The cookies are also heat embossed on this cardstock.

Look at the dimension created by popping up the letters and some of the cookies!  The base was attached to an Ultra White 110 lb A2 base from Maker Forte!

Look at this bright and cheery card!  I cannot decide who I will send it to!  I stamped a page of all the ornaments on Cougar 80 lb. Cardstock with Gina K’s Almagam Copic colored the images.  Of course a layer of Nuvo Glaze was required to achieve the glossy top!

Here you can see the dimension created by popping up the letters.  There are three layers on the card base. The first layer is the Cougar 100 lb base. Next is Smooth Red Wagon Cardstock cut ¼ inch shorter on the top and bottom. The top layer is a diagonal ink blended piece using a stencil from Stamper’s Anonymous. A Pink Fresh Studio die provides the scalloped circle cut out. I love how all the red dots pot through the top layer. I used the back of the three scalloped pieces to form the white base for contrast with the popped-up letters!
