Spread Joy not Germs Blog Hop with Prizes

Greeting Crafty Friends!  I am here today with a post sponsored by Catherine Pooler and Hedgehog Hollow!  In this difficult time, we are encouraging everyone to make and most importantly MAIL cards to those they love!

I am always up for a good challenge. Tell me the parameters and I am off and running. This blog hop is about spreading joy and inspiration to our fellow stampers who are home, alone or just plain bored!

I have created 4 cards for you today. I hope you enjoy! Stay safe my friends!

We'll start with the Unity Stamp set Delectable.

I began by white heat embossing the stamp onto watercolor paper. The flowers and leaves were watercolored using Catherine Pooler inks. Here are the colors: Party Dress, Fuchsia, All That Jazz, Grass Skirt, Tutti Fruity and Tiara.  I used Something Borrowed for the sky. Once the background was dry, I heat embossed the sentiment I believe in you from the Magical Unicorn set from Ink on 3.

I love the organic nature of this card. I mounted it on a turquoise cardstock base.

Here is card number 2 - rainbows and unicorns!

What a happy card!

I started by black embossing the unicorn from the Ink on 3 Magical Unicorn stamp set. I used the same colors of Catherine Pooler inks listed above.

The next 2 cards were made with the free digital download from Catherine Pooler.

I love this sentiment! We are truly all in together!

I am a smoosher at heart! I love the dimension you can create. For this card, I added the colors, one at a time onto an acrylic sheet. A little water and you are ready to go. After flipping the sheet over, I laid the color on a piece of watercolor paper.  I heat dried the piece after each addition of color so the colors could overlay. I moved through the rainbow of colors to cover the front.

 Once the piece dried, I attached it to a piece of paper and printed the sentiment using my computer and printer.

Here is the final card.

For this one, I colored the background stripes using Catherine Pooler inks and a wide waterbrush.

As described above, I attached the background to a piece of copy paper and printed the sentiment.

Added to the green cardstock with a few black bling, it is good to go.
