Lucky Friends

Greetings Friends. I am posting today for CutCardStock. I love the great variety of cardstock they carry, the great customer service and fast shipping! I count myself LUCKY to be continuing on the design team!

Check out the video to see the steps to create this card.
The background started with watercolor paper. I am having fun working with trapped inks as demonstrated on Jennifer McGuire's channel. Cover the paper with Distress green stains such as peeled paint, shabby shutters and forest moss.  Dry with heat tool or set aside to dry. Emboss Stampers Anonymous Fragments stamp set with WOW clear embossing powder.
Ink blend additional green colors over the embossed background.  Flick some water onto the background and dry with a paper towel.
The shamrock was cut with Botanical Curious Metallic cardstock and stamped with the Stampers Anonymous Entemology stamp. Blend Walnut Stain Distress ink onto the edges.
Cut the word Lucky two times from the same Botanical Cardstock and glue them together. Note Botanical color may be out of stock. I linked to the Curious Metallic cardstock page.
Stamp the sentiments onto Neenah Desert Storm Cardstock using Walnut Stain ink and cut into strips. Trim the watercolor card to 4 x 5.5 and attach to a Desert Storm base before attaching the shamrock, letters and sentiment strips.
