The card started with this simple background with watercolored stripes. I used a combination of Spun Sugar and Picked Rasberry Distress inks. The sentiment is from Altenew's Happy Mail set. This is a sweet set with lots of mail related sentiments. I cut the base and the card using Hero Arts Rounded Rectangle die set.
The layers were cut with the Altenew's Peony Die set from pink cardstock from the Botanical Coor’dinations cardstock. I used a Dotted stencil to emboss some texture and blended ink to make the dots pop. The leaves were colored using Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint Distress inks.
The flower center is cut from coral cardstock and covered with Nuvo Glaze. The base layer is Glama Natural Translucent Vellum Die cut with Altenew's Leaf Canopy Die set (one of my favorites).
